New Pennine CEO Jon Harris actively seeking new resource opportunities

CALGARY, Canada (Feb. 17, 2021) Pennine Petroleum Corporation (TSX-V: PNN) (“Pennine” or the “Corporation”) announces that, in an effort to remain in the natural resource industry, Pennine’s new CEO Jon Harris is investigating opportunities in the mining sector.  While not conclusive, these efforts are based on the reality of the natural resources landscape, with more business opportunities currently existing in mining than in the junior oil and gas sector.

Mr. Harris earned a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Natal (South Africa), and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the London Business School. Mr. Harris has extensive experience in early-stage mining projects in Southern Africa, particularly in gold, nickel and bauxite exploration and production. Mr. Harris has served as a Non-Executive Director for several AIM and TSX-listed companies, including Albania-based Bankers Petroleum Ltd. from 2004 through 2016.
